  China-UK Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation: the Next 40 Years, jointly hosted by Queen Mary University in London and the Chinese Association for Science of Science and S&T Policy (CASSSTP) from 8th July to 9th , 2019.

  The two-day forum, China-UK Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation: the Next 40 Years, covered topics of opportunities and challenges of China-UK science, technology and innovation cooperation, policy collaboration, innovation platform building, and intellectual property protection.

  The forum attracted many experts, scholars and government officials from home and abroad. Minister Ma Hui and Minister Counselor Jiangsu Nan of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Fang Xin, Honorary President of the CASSSTP, Ren Fujun, Director-general of National Academy of Innovation Strategy, Lord Clement-Jones, Chairman of Council at Queen Mary University of London, Colin Bailey, President of Queen Mary University of London, Sir Keith Burnett, President of the UK Science Council and former President of the University of Sheffield, David Cardwell, Vice President of the University of Cambridge, and other representatives of the Chinese and British science, technology and education sectors about 150 people were present.

   Rongping Mu, Editor in chief of Innovation and Development Policy, President of the CASSSTP, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a keynote speech entitled Innovation and Talent Training in Chinese Universities.
